Infrastructure Engineer

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious global client based in Liverpool.

Location: Liverpool (2 days WFH)

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:

Previous experience within a similar role

  • Strong Active Directory and O365 experience
  • Previous work on Cloud technologies ideally MS Azure, however AWS would also be acceptable
  • Basic Network and Firewall support experience such as DNS and DHCP

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience of working on cloud migrations from on prem to Azure
  • SAN Storage Management

Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure Engineer

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and managing of on-premise and Azure Cloud based Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
  • Planning and migrating of on-premise servers into Azure
  • Supporting IT Service Desk to resolve escalated calls or provide training / support
  • Managing the firewall, VPN, VLAN and network switches
  • Performing hardware / software installations or upgrades
  • O365 user administration & license management
  • Mobile device management
